"Eva Fonda opens strongly, "Luna Mystika" still rules

Cristine Reyes’s Eva Fonda (left) premiered last Monday, December 1, with an impressive 26.8 percent. Heart Evangelista’s Luna Mystika (right), on the other hand, maintains its lead in the primetime race.

TV Ratings (Nov. 28-Dec. 2): “Eva Fonda opens strongly, “Luna Mystika” still rules

Luna Mystika maintains its supremacy in the weekday primetime race while Eat Bulaga! grabs the lead in the daytime race.

Luna Mystika, starring Heart Evangelista and Mark Anthony Fernandez, consistently held the No. 1 spot, while three shows occupied the No. 2 slot: La Lola on Friday (Nov. 28), 24 Oras on Monday (Dec. 1), and Gagambino on Tuesday (Dec. 2).

Survivor Philippines, on the other hand, remained steady at No. 5.

ABS-CBN premiered its new primetime series Eva Fonda, starring former Kapuso star Cristine Reyes, last Monday. Eva Fonda opened strongly with 26.8 percent to place sixth overall and, more importantly, lead all Kapamilya shows. However, it was not able to sustain its high rating and dramatically dropped to No. 9 last night with 21.7 percent.

Aside from Eva Fonda, Cristine is also in a supporting role in another ABS-CBN primetime drama series Kahit Isang Saglit.

Weekend viewing was topped by Eat Bulaga! and Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho last Saturday (Nov. 29) and by SOP and Rated K last Sunday (Nov. 30).

Heart Evangelista teams up with Richard, breaks up with Jericho

New Kapuso star Heart Evangelista was launched as the newest co-host of the Sunday musical-variety show SOP yesterday, May 4.

PEP EXCLUSIVE: Heart Evangelista teams up with Richard, breaks up with Jericho

“I’m very happy, sobrang happy!” bulalas ng young actress. “It’s my very first [time] in SOP. Okey naman yung launch sa akin, it was really good.”

They are very nice. Pero siyempre, since it’s my first, medyo nakakapanibago. Pero yun nga, they’re all nice naman,” lahad ni Heart.

RICHARD-HEART VS. RICHARD-KC.

“Well, if they will make a movie together, I think that’s just fine,” saad niya. “And I think, they’ve known each other a little bit longer. So you know, I have nothing against anything.

“Hindi naman ako… I mean, wala namang nangyayari sa amin ni Richard. We don’t really work together and we ‘re just about to get to know each other. And you know, if there’s something between them… I’m against third party,” nakangiting pahayag ni Heart.

BREAKUP WITH JERICHO.

“No! Never! I want that clear. I already made him paglaban till the very end. Well, my parents and I, we’re okay. They know na wala na silang magagawa and hindi sila mananalo sa battle na yun. So no, it wasn’t about that,” mariin niyang pahayag.

“I’m just you know…at…well, I have no comment talaga… Really, at this moment, I’m not ready to say anything,” paputol-putol na sagot ni Heart.

Is she still in the process of healing or is she already moving on?

“Of course, now, you go through hurt,” sagot ni Heart. “But you know, I have a fresh start here and I’m very busy with work. So I’m sure everything will be okay.”

Just because your career is good and then your lovelife is bad… You know, I always believe that doing good in your career and being in love ay pupuwedeng pagsabayin,” paliwanag niya.

“That change is the only constant thing in the world. So you just have to live life a day at a time,” sambit niya.

May chance pa ba na magkabalikan sina ni Jericho in the future, lalo na kapag dumating ang young actor from Malaysia?

“I don’t know…I don’t know… I really have no comment to that. Really, no comment,” sagot niya.
