BAD START BREEDS BETTER YEAR FOR HEART
HEART Evangelista was interviewed by Raymond Gutierrez and she says that 2008 started badly for her but it ended very well. “Sa umpisa, bad talaga kasi marami akong mahirap na pinagdaraanan,” she said. “But eventually, I was able to patch things up with my parents at nagtuluy-tuloy nang gumanda. We became closer and we now have a more solid relationship.”

She says she has definitely moved on from her painful relationship with her last boyfriend (Jericho Rosales) and yes, she has a new one, Francisco Delgado. “I’m really thankful that I have a new show which is a hit, ‘Luna Mystika,’  kasi before I moved to GMA-7, everybody was saying wala na akong chance makabawi pa. I’m glad that the viewers welcomed me again and GMA has other plans for me.”

Jericho Rosales shocked by news that Heart Evangelista broke up with him

“I’m gonna try to clear things up. I’m gonna know the truth, whatever happened. I’m gonna see and try to make it work,” says Jericho Rosales, who is still hoping to have a reconciliation with Heart Evangelista.

Jericho Rosales shocked by news that Heart Evangelista broke up with him

“Sad news and, you know, there’s been a big mistake,” said a confused Jericho Rosales when asked about the alleged breakup with his girlfriend of three years, Heart Evangelista.

In Showbiz Central last Sunday, May 4, Heart revealed that she and Jericho have already called it quits. However, in an exclusive interview with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Heart did not disclose the real reason for her decision. (Click here to read related article)

ABS-CBN News clarified this with Jericho when he arrived yesterday, May 8, from his month-long taping in Malaysia for his teleserye with Malaysian actress Carmen Soo. He told ABS-CBN reporter Mario Dumaual that there was no formal breakup between him and Heart.

“I, myself, I’m confused, e,” said Jericho. “I heard nakipag-break siya sa akin on TV, e, so… On text, it wasn’t clear, e.”

Echo, Jericho’s nickname in showbiz, was not only surprised but also clueless about the real reason for their breakup, although he suspects that someone is trying to destroy his image with Heart.

“Whoever said things to her, how come… You guys can show up and say it to my face. I mean, I can talk to you, but I’m not gonna do anything. I’m gonna say, you know, I’m gonna be honest to you and say, ‘Where did you get this?’” the young actor challenged whoever concocted the story against him.

Meanwhile, Jericho dismissed rumors saying that Malaysian actress Carmen Soo is one of the reasons for the split. “Definitely not, no, I don’t know about the third party,” assured Jericho.

He continued, “You know, whoever is creating this thing… I love Heart, you know. Ano pa bang sasabihin ko? I’m a guy, I could have done anything, di ba? I was so far away, I had so many chances to, you know… But I kept my heart, you know, I saved my heart for Heart.”

Jericho still has high hopes to work things out between him and Heart. He wants a serious personal talk with Heart. However, he only has several days to stay here before he goes back to Malaysia for his taping. It is also impossible for them to see each other because Heart is in Dubai right now for the taping of her first project with GMA-7, Asero.

ABS-CBN then asked Jericho if he thinks that it is time to move on. “I can’t say I’ll move on, I love Heart, e. So, I’m gonna make this work first,” the young actor replied.

He added, “I’m gonna try to clear things up. I’m gonna know the truth, whatever happened. I’m gonna see and try to make it work because you cannot decide if there’s any… You cannot say it’s over if there’s no peace. You cannot say that’s it if there’s no peace in your heart.”

Jericho also refused to give a message to Heart. Indirectly, he told ABS-CBN, “I just wanna be careful of what I wanna say because I haven’t spoken to Heart, and I don’t wanna hurt her on TV.”

Heart Evangelista confirms breakup with Jericho; excited to work with Richard

New Kapuso star Heart Evangelista has finally admitted breakup with boyfriend Jericho Rosales (inset, top). She is now focused on her showbiz career and will, in fact, start taping her first soap with Richard Gutierrez (inset, bottom).

Heart Evangelista confirms breakup with Jericho; excited to work with Richard

Ako pa nga naghatid sa kanya sa airport when he left for Malaysia.

“You know, si Jericho nasa Malaysia, I’m here in the Philippines, busy din ako. I’m going to do a soap with Richard [Gutierrez]. Right now, we’re just doing our own thing. Yung career namin, inaasikaso namin. Kung magkita kami, magkikita kami. Pero I think matagal pa siya doon… More than two months yata siyang nandoon. Kung hindi, then we’ll just miss each other. But it’s career first now.”

Bagama’t tumanggi siyang magbigay ng detalye tungkol sa kanilang breakup, sinabi ng young actress, “There’s a lot of things that we didn’t get along with, a lot of things so…”

WORKING WITH RICHARD.

So it’s my first time to work with him and from the looks of it, mukhang okey naman siya,” saad ni Heart sa panayam sa kanya ng GMA News.

“Magkikita kami sa Batangas this Saturday [May 3]. There is a small event there. So we’ll get to know each other before work,” sabi ni Heart.

“I just wanna have fun, have a good time,” nakangiting sagot ni Heart.

Mag-e-enjoy kami, we’ll be working hard,” sabi ng young actor.
